BIRD started with a simple question: Why does cycling apparel sometimes feel unnecessarily complicated? The design is often strong, timeless and clean, but somewhere along the way, the balance between quality, functionality, and simplicity seems to get lost.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2025, that idea is where BIRD was born. Not as a brand trying to reinvent the wheel, but as one aiming to do things better. We believe that good design, quality, and simplicity should go hand in hand. We craft every piece with care and attention to detail, making sure that what you wear improves your performances and is built to last.

For us, cycling is about more than just performance. It’s about the calm surroundings of being outdoors, the freedom of movement, and the ever-changing landscape around you. Nature is at the core of BIRD. That’s why we consciously choose recycled materials and design apparel that not only performs well, but is made to last both in durability and in style.

Our designs are created on the road. The colors you see, the places you pass through, the small details you might otherwise overlook. That’s where BIRD finds its inspiration. Our first design was inspired by the kingfisher: small, fast, and striking in its simplicity, with colors you won’t easily forget.
